A word from Claudie and Daniel
Halfway between VILLEFRANCHE DE ROUERGUE and FIGEAC, let yourself be surprised by this magical place, a subtle blend of elegance and authenticity. Lulled by the gentle melody of chirping birds, whinnying horses and rustling trees, Daniel and Claudie open the doors of their estate, set in the heart of nature with a breathtaking view over the surrounding countryside, a typical Aveyronnaise residence with its stone walls and dovecote, framed by its two large barns, one of which dates back to 1801, in an enchanting and particularly peaceful setting of 18 hectares of meadows and woods. Here you’ll find authenticity and serenity, with the charm of yesteryear as if time had stood still ….
We have renovated our entire property, house and barns, essentially by ourselves, respecting the original features but adding comfort through environmentally-friendly renovation using natural insulation materials such as wood wool, sheep’s wool, cork, fermacel …
It took my husband and I ten years of courage and tenacity to restore this estate to its former glory.
You’ll make your way from nature to the soft, enveloping warmth of your room, where you’ll no doubt appreciate the refinement and originality of the decor, which will leave no one indifferent… The barn has 4 large, bright and charming bedrooms, a dining room in the barn’s former stable, a shared library area for relaxing in peace and quiet, a decorating boutique and a wellness area to complete your stay.
Every effort is made to offer you moments of zenitude, so that your stay will be one that soothes and rejuvenates you, and one that will remain etched in your memory.
A journey to the heart of your journey!
The very essence of our project was motivated by meeting, exchanging and sharing.
See you soon
Come and relax in a peaceful setting surrounded by exceptional nature!
